Oh No!
Oh no! Guess who's iPod broke? Guess who had to go the apple store to get it fixed? Guess who now has a shiney new iPod because she had a problem no one at the genius bar had ever seen before?

If you answered 'you' to any one of those questions, congratulations and here's a virtual cookie!
(btw, what kind of snotty company calls their help desk the 'genius bar'? It's kind of funny, and kind of really obnoxious.)

SPAMalot was SPAMtacular! I actually saw Mr. REC there (with I believe his wife...? Mr. REC with a wife is just an odd concept for me. Maybe it wasn't his wife, maybe it was his sister or something. Or maybe it was a hologram...) Anyways It was a shock to see him there by a good sort of shock. We chatted during intermission, and then we watched the 'gay gay gay' Lancelot thing and it was one of the most hysterical things I've seen in a long time.

Any musical with cod pieces like that gets an A+ in my book.

Lol, and they even got the fish slapping dance in there. The fish slapping dance! this thing--->

Buckets yo, that the best Monty Python sketch of all time (in my humble oppinion) and it has NOTHING to do with the Holy Grail movie, and yet, They got it in there! I almost died I laughed so hard when the fish were whipped out, and it was only in the first five minutes!

You have to see it. It's boats of fun. Big boats of fun!

Now for something completely different; it was Alena's birthday on saturday!
We went to the Picasso and American art exhibit at the Walker and had truckloads of fun trying to decipher plastic chairs with tissue boxes and multiplying 16 by 46 + some odd remainder in our heads. Really, it was totally awesome. I'm not even a big picasso fan, but there was Pollock and Bruce Connor and lots of awesome pieces I hadn't expected. It was wonderful.

And being the frightening little products of Mike and Kevin we all were (we being myself, my sister, and Alena) We all brought along notebooks thinking along the lines of "Well, we did it at MIA..."

Anyways, yes. Having a decent summer, I hope you all are too. Love you all!

So thiiiis is the fish-slapping dance. I'm really not sure whether I had seen it before or not. But what I do know is that I am looking forward to SPAMalot.

Speaking of Mike and Kevin, recently I got the customary "Alena is awesome" letter from MITY/Mike and Kevin. Which was fun, and made me wonder where those CDs of pictures that Mike promised us have gone. Maybe I will bother him with an email.

I wonder what they would call the Genius Bar if they didn't call it that. "The Einstein Pub"?

Same here about the Fish slapping dance. Once I click "play" I believe it shall be my first time I've seen it. I've heard of it though. Quite a bit, too.

Ooh! that means my letter thingie should come soon too! *points at Alena's comment* we held our mail because were gone. Yes, where did those CDs go?

you saw Mr. Rec? that's awesome! was he enjoying it?

I bring a notebook to museums now too.... eh heh... we're not *that* frightning...
